Sail World reports on (confidential) America’s Cup arbitration

Sail World reported in May 2016 on comments apparently made by Russell Coutts, to the effect that an Arbitration Panel had been appointed, and scheduled to conduct a hearing in July 2016, with a view to determining a dispute relating to the decision not to host a Qualifier Series event in Auckland, New Zealand (which had originally been scheduled, apparently, to take place in February 2017).

However, due to confidentiality obligations, neither party to the dispute is technically allowed to acknowledge the existence of the dispute, let alone comment on the substance of the arbitration.

The story was also picked up by the New Zealand Herald: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11670046
