Cayman attorney found guilty of driving offences

Justice Swift thanked the jurors for their service. “That wasn’t an easy case,” he told them.

The attorney in question was subsequently sentenced to 3 years in prison, and a 5 year driving ban, with Justice Swift reportedly rejecting his plea in mitigation on the basis that he had told ‘wicked lies’, and that his expression of sorrow was ‘disingenuous’, and his conduct ‘shameful’.
